Welcome to Kinesio Tape® , the original elastic therapeutic taping method!

For over 35 years Kinesio Tape® has been used by athletes and non-athletes alike.  Wildly popular within the world of rehabilitation as well as athletics, Kinesio Tape garnered worldwide recognition after athletes wore it during the 2008 summer Olympics in China.  However, Kinesio Tape has been around for generations, and has been the tape of choice for physical therapists, chiropractors, athletic trainers and a many other types of practitioners of human health and performance.  Invented by Dr. Kenzo Kase in 1979 and developed right here in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kinesio Tape is used in over 90 countries, and an estimated 15 million applications are administered annually worldwide.  Now you too can learn how to use Kinesio Tape!

There is a specific method used to apply Kinesio Tape.  In the Certified Kinesio Taping Technician (CKTT)® workshops you will learn the fundamentals of this method, including how to cut the tape, proper application technique, appropriate tension lengths,  contraindications (when NOT to use the tape), and of course, specific taping patterns which you can use immediately.

Level 1 is two hours long and is open to anybody.  So, if you are a weekend warrior, a coach, a fitness buff,  or engage in any type of physical activity, Level 1 is for you.

Level 2 is four hours long.  This advanced training is designed for fitness or health professionals who have a solid foundation in human anatomy.

**The level 1 course is required of everyone before taking level 2, regardless of prior knowledge, experience or courses in other taping methods.
